Why is android Active Sync so slow compared to the iPhone?

I have the Incredible, Droid X Droid 2. I notice when I add or remove events on my Outlook calendar it can take up to 20 mins or more to update on the device. with the iPhone its just a few seconds.

It could be that it is set to only sync every 20 minutes. You might also look on the market for the Outlook sync apps there.

how often did you tell your phone to sync? You know this is an option right. IIRC the default is either once every 30 minutes or once an hour, but I could be wrong. You have the option to make it much more frequent. also, make sure you have syncing turned on.
