why is mytouch cheaper than the g1?

right now on the T-mobile site the Mytouch is $149.??

But I still wouldn't get one even if it was cheaper. I like a real keyboard.

I do think the very first Mytouch phones were missing one of the web features. Maybe those are the $99 ones.
 
no it was 99 bucks..trust me i was not seeing things and since i bought my mytouch only a week ago i called the rep and got a 50 dollar credit

Did you get it online or through a local store? Not that I'm in the market for one, but others might be.
 
i saw the price online and printed it out. took it to a tmobile cooperate store and they matched it
 
Actually right now Bestbuy has an online T-mobile special for the Motorola Cliq (new accounts only) for $99
