Why keep changing things about every new version?

It really annoys me that in every update they feel the need to swap everything around.
Even the most basic things like gmail.
If I was going senile I would be lost. Just when you get comfortable they have a rework in the name of progress.
At least Microsoft keep things backward compatible.
What do you think?

It is certainly true that google apis and many android apps change very fast compared to M$ apps.

Also google trends to test their products on their own employees (dogfooding). An interface that is intuitively obvious to a computer science phd who lives and breathes computers may not be the same for you and I.

But most of It is free, and some is pretty darned good.

It is what it is.

Well, my desktop firefox seems to want update nearly everyday, so what was wrong with it before?

I can understand it in phones though. Most things are still in dev status.

True enough, It is annoying! The hard part is when you're still navigating through the device and boom! they change the next day and you have to go through the whole process again. Didn't think that their meaning of "update" is a never ending change. haha

Hi, radoxme! I have to agree on what you said. It is really annoying. Weeks or months later you have to update and update to new versions coming out of the market. However, I think it is part of their marketing strategy. To increase their sales, they have to keep on inventing new updates or apps or gadgets every once for a while.
