After reading this story I now understand what took so long. But why not just tell the users??????

Ummmm JBQ posted about it on Google groups a long time ago and there was a blog release about it from Google. Who are asking why not tell us? Qualcomm owns CDMA and has a tight grip on it. This has always been how CDMA was that is why every phone you buy that is CMDA has that qualcomm sticker on it. They own the patents for CDMA it is licensed not a standard like GSM is.
 
I did find that on Google Groups. And I do know about the quaalcomm and CDMA thing but I had no idea about Google not supporting CDMA crazy But now I understand. I have seen so many post in forums about whos fault is it and Sprint?? Google???? and finger pointing. Now I know. I need to read more lol
