Accessories Why, O why, isn't there a kickstand case for this phone yet?

It's been two years! Google (or search Amazon) "Epic 4G kickstand" and you'll get a hundred hits for Epic 4G TOUCH, but none for Epic 4G. Google "d700 kickstand" - nada

Is it because of the rounded corners? Makes the phone unstable to balance on a kickstand? Seems like a pretty easy engineering problem to solve to me.

Or is it just because nobody really cares about our phone any more? Hard to believe since there's a hundred cases without kickstands. Google "d700 case"

There are a ton of cool accessories that will never be available for Android phones. Reason being, no one Android phone out sells Apples iPhone. A company that sells accessories will sell more of them, and at a greater profit, if they are designed for the iPhone. And then there is the factor of uniformity. Android phones are all different shapes, sizes, and the ports are all in different locations. So manufactures will get less return on their initial investment, spent on design and setup costs.

The closest you'll get to the kickstand case, is to purchase the Samsung auxiliary battery kit. Not only does the carrier charge a second battery from outside the phone, but it also doubles as a phone stand. You do have to slide out the keyboard for it to work, though.

Get FlyGrip. Attach to the back of your favorite case. Not only is it a vertical and horizontal stand but it also allows you to freely and safely hold the phone with one hand in any direction/position without worry of it slipping.

Not a bad idea, except it makes your phone bulkier and hard to slide into your pants pocket. And if you use it with a holster, it will stick out of the back of the phone and catch on things. Now that I think of it, its a really dumb idea!
