Why only 2 home screens?

Are there any chances of Google letting us have at least one other home screen? My N7 has more than 2

Moving from HTC and Samsung I'm missing some real estate for icons and widgets

Move an app to the right. Another screen will be created.

I did this too. Then i accidently deleted a home screen and couldn't get it back.. untill i finally figured it out..
