Why phone start lagging

Hi guys
My Samsung advance now possibly 3 yeas start to lag in respond to screen touch, any particular reason, what can be done to improve it

First you could try booting into recovery (with phone off, hold in Power, Home and volume up) then use volume buttons to navigate to Wipe Cache Partition and use Home to select it.
That might help temporarily but if not you could backup whatever is important to you and do a factory data reset (this wipes everything you've added to the phone and returns it to a "new" state but retains any system updates)

Thank you fuzzy/funky Logik, i have done reboot before but have not tried the wipe cache partition, something new for me to try. Thanks again, the cache clean up seems to speed up already. Hope it last.

One more thing i forget to post at the start of this thread. The phone in a day just restart itself a few times. What does this manifest & again friend whats your fix for this. The restart is quite fast though
