Why so sluggish?

Does anyone else think this phone is slow?
I mean when I first got it it felt snappy and responsive. But now it's extremely slow at times. I tried to take a picture yesterday and from pushing the button to it showing up in the small circle at the bottom of screen was about 10 seconds. The setting are on auto btw.
At times I feel like I'm using a phone from 4 years ago. Anyone have any thoughts?

Do a factory reset, that should clear things up

When you look at the battery stats, does it show any unusual power use? Sounds like you have an app that's gone all cattywumpus. (sorry for the technical jargon. )

ya seems alittle drastic. I don't really want the headache of putting things back.

Soy adgaurd was using 17% over the last three hours. I turned it off going to see how that affects performance.

I've noticed this too lately, ESPECIALLY with the camera. I've missed lots of photo opps because I open the camera and it lags and even when I load it you can't press the shutter button for five to ten seconds.
I'm gonna try downloading a different camera app. Fingers crossed.
