Help Why update from EB13 to EC05

If your EB13 sucks, take it into a Sprint store and have them update it. If it runs fine for you liking, then leave it as is.

I've had EB13 since the day it came out, and I have to say EC05 is leaps and bounds better than EB13.

BEcause sprint is tracking over 12 major bugs introduced with eb13, which is why they pulled it, most of which are fixed on ec05

No you would have to ODIN back to DI18.

I was going to ask this same question.
So even if I can find the EC05 file, it will not update directly from EB13?

If I take my phone into a Sprint store so they can work their magic, I assume I will lose all info on my phone?

Contrary to claims form support the store will hand you a refurb. That is what they tried to do to me today. they have no notes, no and no method to go from eb13 to di18 and no way to go from eb13 to ec05.

The first "like new" refurb had a lose slider. the second one they opened had problems with capacitivey buttons. no way.

I just received EC05 OTA update. I did manual EB13 before.

So there are no problems allowing the EC05 OTA after an EB13 manual update? Yes I know there are and always will be some problems with every release. I just want to know if my phone as currently configured (not rooted) will continue to function without major problems.

I got the update earlier today. I have only had 1 problem so far. My phone suddenly stopped making all sounds and vibrations. Then it took 10+ minutes to turn off. It's fine now. I have no idea. Brain fart?

So far so good.
I think its faster with my previous excellent battery life.
Great under 2.1, sucked under EB,great so far today with EC.
