Why would anyone need Ringdroid

There is a ringtone trimmer built in the phone that works to the second on each end of tone.

Rungdroid is much more exact. For example, a long song goes every 2 seconds with the defaulttrimmer. Also, you can make alarm tones and notification tones with ringdroid.

If you can make notifers where or what folder do you put them in so phone will find an accept them

If you use ringdroid, it will automatically place them in the right place. It will ask you if you want to save it as a ringtone or notification. Then, when you go to select a ringtone, you'll find it in there.

Ringdroid is much more flexible and allows a greater range of selection options when creating your sound sample for either Ringtones, Alarms and Notifications.
It will allow you to select any portion of a song you like, not just the beginning and you can make the sample longer in duration if you like as well.

:) Like Astro File Manager, I think RingDroid should come with the phone as a standard app, lol, just my opinion... ;)

It's built in to the phone when you select a song from your music for a ringtone it asks if you want to cut it using the built in ringtone trimmer.

Something I didn't know....but I'm still going to stick with RingDroid, as it has more options then the default trimmer. I like options, lol. :)

Now thats cool.... I got one problem I had a Blackberry before this. I had the Roadrunner meepmeep as my notifier. I wish I knew which folder to put it in as I would love to continue to use it.

I have not figured that out yet... I think I'm gonna try ringdroid. Thanks

Zedge has that and I use it as my text notification.
