Help WhyTF do games keep crashing on my LG Esteem?

I keep reading how other people manage to run games like Shadowgun and other HD games on the LG Esteem like nothing but everytime i try running it, after like 2 minutes it either reboot my phone or brings it back to my homescreen. Why is that? I have Chainfire3D installed and even have the 3 plug-ins and the problem still occurs. Is there anything i can do to fix this so i can play these games. The games that I've tried that had this happen are Eternal Legacy, Aftermath, Blood and Glory, Shadowgun. I wanna start playing these already! =[ Any help would be appreciated.
 
hey bro i have shadowgun and its works great but......i also do not have chainfire installed either that might be your problem right there, i read in another post that its not wise to use chainfire until we have a custom recovery just in case something goes wrong and one might have to reflash a nand backup or something like that...Hope this helps
 
So you're able to run it with no issues? You have anything other type of program thats installed that's boosting your phones performance? I'll try uninstalling Chainfire and see if that helps
 
nope none at all there really isnt anything good out there yet but kanaida's lg esteem optimizer but i dont have that installed atm,ive played it for like an hour straight one time with no problems!!

also one more thing i saw you played blood and glory as well...some thing for me and it played well too!!!

is your phone rooted?

and besides your problem could be either another app is eating all the cpu and ram out of your Phone, or your cpu is capped. Either way, i suggest you to download "fast Reboot" from market. Use that app before you play a game, so you could play without having others apps in the background running...

His CPU is "capped" like everyone else's at 1024 ;)

I know this sounds silly but it's happened to me..

When playing a game which requires you to move your fingers around and especially near the (touch) home button, it will take you back to the home screen.

you need to just be aware of where your fingers are. (the only disadvantage with the full touch key's vs hard pressed keys)

and chainfire3d will help with some games. That uses different drivers from my understanding which can help with some games require a 'specific' phone for support.

Otherwise i've played several HD games without chainfire3d and it's great.
