Android Question

I've got a Zenfone running Android 5.0 that can't connect to my home Wi-Fi.

It was connecting fine until a few days ago.

Now it says "Authentication problem".

Other phones and devices can connect to the Wi-Fi.

The Zenfone can connect to other Wi-Fi networks.

I've tried forgetting the network, then reconnecting and entering the password. The connection status goes to "saved" then back to "Authentication problem".

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Whoops, I thought I was logged in when I added this post!

Wanted to also say that I've turned off other devices and there doesn't seem to be a maximum number of devices that can connect to the router/Wi-Fi at a time.

I had this problem before. What you can try is, under wifi, select other network. Then manually type in the SSID and type in the password.

Yes, have tried rebooting the router.

Have not tried WPS so will try that.

If not, will try typing in the SSID.

Thanks.

Hi guys,

Connecting via WPS works, but if I leave the house/wifi area and then come back into range, I have to do the WPS again.

Any ideas on how to connect automatically? Other phones can connect automatically.

Thanks.
