Help Wi-fi & bluetooth problem

G60

Lurker
Hi there,

This is my first post here so I hope you can help!

Phone: Galaxy S GT-I9000
Carrier: 02
Firmware: 2.1.1

The phone boots as normal, and is quite happy using normal functions.

However, as soon as I enable Wifi, it goes very sluggish and freezes briefly and then in the notification bar states: Preparing mass internal storage>External SD card removed>Media Scanner running>Media Scanner completed.
After this, it freezes briefly and starts that same cycle again and keeps repeating.
Wifi will still not work.

With Bluetooth, If I go to enable Bluetooth it does not enable (ie the icon does not go green).

There is no External SD card fitted.

Any ideas chaps?

Thanks in advance. :)

Try this, restart the phone, and wait about 5 min without touching it, this should make sure everything started normally and everything is ready. Then try enabling wifi and see if that works. I found that with my phone when starting it, I have to wait about 5 min without using it then it is working great with no issues.
