Wi-fi connection keeps dropping

I have had my new HTC One for two weeks, a beautiful mobile which I'm very happy with except for one thing: wi-fi connection keeps dropping for no apparent reasons. We have TalkTalk router and both my partner and I have had no problems at all with it with previous mobiles: Nokia, Windows mobile HTC 8X, Galaxy S3. HTC One is the exception. I have rebooted the router, even changed the frequency, and tried this and that to no avail. Can anyone help?

Put the phone within 2 inches of the router. If it works, bring the phone back and either do a warranty exchange or have them repair the wifi antenna connection,

If it still doesn't work, do a warranty exchange - the wifi radio is no good.
