Help Wi-fi disabled

celeron

Lurker
I recently bought a fly touch 4. At first the wifi worked, but the 3g is not working. I fumbled around, trying to get the 3g working. I don't know what went wrong, but all of a sudden, the wi-fi has been disabled. I can not enable it again (the wi-fi is grey and the green tick can not be turned on). Does anybody know how to fix it?

Are you sure you didn't accidentally turn off the WiFi switch on the top?

Hello and welcome, celeron. :)

I'd go into the application manager and remove/delete cache and data on all stock and 3rd party network apps, then reboot the device and start over. I'm sure you'll find the wifi capabilities again, but it'll be a matter of proper configuration.

If it's a home wifi setup, with your own router, you might first just trying resetting or restarting the router before doing the cache clearing thing, but I'd do the cache thing anyway, that's just me as I like to start fresh from an apparent glitch of "fumbling around" as you put it. :D
