Help Wi-Fi exclamation mark until unlocked

Hi can anyone help?

Since the lastest lollipop update my remembered networks do not automatically connect to the wi-fi, it shows a little exclamation mark at the top in the notification panel. However when I unlock my phone in a coupe of seconds the exclamation mark disappears and I have access again.

Previously I never had to unlock the phone for it to automatically connect to the wifi it would just do it, and as I walk in and out of my office wifi regularly I dont want to have to unlock everytime.

Anyone else had this problem or better have the solution?!?

Check to see if under menu>settings>wifi>menu>advanced if "keep WiFi on during sleep" is set to always.

Yes set to always but still not working
