My Dad has an S3 Neo, and has the following issues experienced at his home using the latest BT home hub:
1. When the Samsung "Smart Network Switch" is checked the Wi-Fi signal comes and goes repeatedly.
He has changed one of these handsets already due to this issue, but it didn't have that switch (well not visible at top of wi-fi settings) as that phone used a lesser android version.
2. With that switch now off on his second handset, with his Wi-Fi on, when he works outdoors going out of range, upon his return sign in is required, no password just tap connect. WHY IS THIS?
Is this the phone, android version, or Samsung add-on?
Is it to do with BT having other access pints i.e. FON or X, that maybe have a stronger signal and confuse the phone?
Initial conclusion to first issue that the SMART switch is totally useless and ineffective!
