Wi-Fi Keeps Turning On?

Hi Everyone,

I have a Kyocera Hydro and for some reason the Wi-Fi keeps turning on by itself. I searched the forum and found that you can go into Advanced settings under Wi-Fi and turn this feature off, but those settings are greyed out for me.

Would anyone know how I can get this "ungreyed" so I can turn the notifications off (I'm assuming it's the notifications setting that keeps turning the Wi-Fi on)?

Thanks.

After some more searching I think I found it. Going to settings I clicked on "More...", then Mobile Networks and found the Connection Optimizer. I clicked on this and found the box had a check mark in it, so I unchecked it.

Now to see if it turns on by itself again.

It took me a while to figure this out so in case anyone else is having the same problem trying to find out how to do this on a Hydro I thought I'd supply some pics....

On the Kyocera Hydro this is how you turn off the Connections Optimizer to keep the Wi-Fi from constantly turning on by itself. First go to Settings, then click on "More..."

After clicking "More..." you'll see the Mobile Networks. Click on that...

Here you'll see the Connections Optimizer. Click this...

On the Optimizer screen you'll see a check mark in the box. Uncheck this and then leave the screen (use the Home or back buttons). Whatever you do don't go back to this screen, because just going to this screen (even if you don't do anything) will automatically put another check mark in that box and you'll have to go back and do this all over again.
