Help Wi- Fi Question

Go to menu>settings>wireless & networks>WiFi and from the list of networks long-press the one you want to remove and choose forget network.

Every time i do that all that happens is the network comes up and then it says connect to ...... but i dont see a forget network or anything that would remove it ....

What you are seeing is all the networks within range that are broadcasting an SSID. When you "forget" the network, it only works with networks you've already logged into. It deletes all login credentials, but doesn't prevent the networks from being seen.

If you don't login to the network, it will drop off the list as soon as you are out of range.

But my job is changing there Wi-fi and saying we need to delete it so we'll be able to use the new one....... i've used the other wi-fi plenty of times before but need to delete it out .

Once the new WiFi is available just connect to it. Then you can "forget" the old one as stated above.
