Help Wi-fi setting

My myTouch 4g has a peculiar problem. My WiFi often won't connect to the two wifi networks I use most--work and home. BUT, it does work sometimes. So its not like the radio doesn't work, its just very temperamental. Also, I usually just keep the WiFi radio turned off due to this issue but I find that sometimes the radio turns itself on and I have to go back and disable it again. This is very annoying because if the WiFi isn't able to connect, it just eats the battery up!!

Anyone else seen anything similar and/or have any suggestions?

try going into settings>wireless networks> wifi settings>then hit the menu button and then advanced..check the box for best wifi performance. see if that helps.

If that doesnt work, it sounds like you need to do a factory reset!Just back up all your information before hand though.
