i tried wifi tether and i tried barnacle tether i get errors, is there any tethering apps that work with this phone?

Than use ... Generic.ICS/JB (WIANO)
This, because there's only one ZTE setting, it's for the "Blade", not for the ZTE Warp Sequent ...
Unless, you have a Samsung epic 4g I suppose.

BTW.. This setting is for the "WiFi Tether for Root Users.apk'

Been using that setting for many months, while using WiFi Tether, and now also on the latest version (TrevE Mod).
Junkie was good enough to walk me through the settings, back when I was a newb, and couldn't get anything to work.
In my case, going to Superuser from SU, made all the difference, and allowed actual tethering.
Also there had been the error message, of super binaries being out dated, and after going to Superuser, no more of that.

Maybe others too. But your going to find what your looking for in this thread. It's a play store app for rooted phones, once you have that installed, (might have to re-boot?), try tethering again.

How TO install?
If your asking how would you get and install, superuser, than you need to use the Google Play Store, app, on the phone, than type in that search, "superuser", and choose to install.
Really all there is to that part.
If your having problems with settings, in WiFi Tether, than I'd suggest reading, and re-reading those threads, because that's the way the problem is solved, reading till your eyes finally stop getting in the way, and let the information in, (well that's a little dramatic).
Even I could finally get the phone to tether again, I'm sure you can too.

Change super users amd now it works , but very slow, do you know how to change the settings or the best settings for my phone

I just jumped to SuperR's rom today, and had to tinker a little to get the WiFi Tether app to work on this ROM.
So, my settings now are:
device profile: Generic ICS/JB (wlan0)
Set up Method: Netd-Ndc (master)
Fallback Tether -WiFi driver reload -check it on
Don't disable Bluetooth -check it on
WiFi driver reload -check it on
WiFi driver reload 2 -check it on
Routing Fix - check it on
That's all I can tell you.

anyone else noticed that it get KOd after about 20 minutes kuz they removed the option for always on mobile data? i need to find a way to rebuild the phone.apk to remove the stupid option for connection optimizer and add that back in. for now though im gonna use a copy of the older phone.apk which im sure will work just as well, not sure if b09 still has that option either but i know b07 did

Junkie, your right, B07 had that, the B09 had changed so much in the settings, and mobile data, no longer can be found. I mean it's staring right at you, setting's/more/VPN? What about mobile networks? Where's the native tethering?
Must be directly due to the wish to throttle any unpaid tethering?
I hadn't tried to use the tablet at all, (just wanted to have tether work again) so hadn't noticed a 20 minute auto.shut-off. Thanks for pointing that out.

yea, i mean there is still a mobile network option, but all it has is that stupid connection optimizer and a checkbox to enable mobile data which as far as i know can be done in the data monitor menu as well. i can enable the menu options for everything else but i cant make them function. i pulled the code from b07 and shoved it into b11s phone.apk but sadly after all the work it took just to get the menu item to appear it still doesnt actually do anything

Settings? I tried a different setup method, and surprised myself when it worked to tether.
