Root Widget Clock Off

The toolbar clock (at top) shows the correct time. The Widget (?) analog clock on homepage is off by an hour. It is linked to my hometown and shows weather correctly. Anyone have any ideas?

There is a setting in the widget to enable daylight saving time, you have to check it and then your clock widget will be right. Touch the widget, then touch menu from in the widgit, then turn on Daylight savings time it's that easy.

Can the widget clock be removed? Not sure I am digging the analog clock staring at me.

Just touch and hold the clock then drag it down to the bottom and it will go away.
