Help Widget in the dock below the dots?

Hi,

I've just upgraded to the S2 from an HTC Desire and have a couple of questions on customising the S2. I apologise if this has been asked before but I've not seen it yet.

I know you can change the icons which are shown in the dock below the dots on the homescreen. The original icons being Phone, Contacts, Messaging, Applications.

Is it possible to put a widget there and if so, how?

I want to replace the messaging app icon with Handcent's but I'd obviously prefer the widget so it can show how many are unread.

You certainly cant do it with touchwiz, it maybe possible with a custom launcher but I dont think so, sorry.

You certainly can.....open your app draw, hit menu soft key, select edit.....change them to what you please...;)

I personally hate the Touchwiz launcher and use ADW, Go Launcher is another good one, much more chance to personalise.

Obvouisly I can't read, no you are quite right in saying that widgets can't be put there.
