Widget Locker and Stock Lock Screen after JB

I use Widget Locker as my lock screen app, but since I updated to JB the stock lock screen sometimes pops up when I press the home button. Any ideas on how to fix this?

i'm on Jelly Bean, and this isn't happening to me.

you can tho try the workaround fix that the app supplies. it's somewhere in settings where you have it show in the Notification Bar. with the app *technically* showing, it's always running, instead of kind of being in memory.

do you need to disable the stock lock screen? cant recall as ive not setup WL from fresh for a while, and not installed it yet on jb - sorry

I have the stock lock screen disabled and I tried displaying the notification, but that did not help. I have ATK set to ignore Widget Locker as well, so I know it isn't killing the app. On a another note, does anyone know how to get the GS3 to always unlock to your last app when unlocking using the home key?

I would uninstall WL and reinstall it. I run WL but am not having this problem.

In WL under the advanced menu, uncheck 'Always unlock to Home', you will then unlock to last used app.

I did not have "Always unlock to home" checked. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling to no avail. WL only works properly 100% of the time if I use the power button to unlock. If I disable the stock lockscreen and use easy wake mode, as recommended, when I unlock via the home button, no lockscreen comes up at all. When I don't use easy wake, the stock lockscreen shows up intermittently.

I had this problem on the first upgrade to JB, it went away with later upgrades. Bit of a nightmare as I have my weather on my lock screen

Edit Corrected a mistake I made.

Ok to use Widget locker for the Home key defaults first enable the security I.e disable easy wake (You might not need to do this but I did it anyway) then make sure you have no locking security in the android Os settings (I.e no pattern or Pass = Set to 'None') then go:

Widget Locker>Settings>Advanced>HomeHelper>Tick first option (Ignore 4 and 5 they are for disabling the HK)>Second Option choose whichever launcher you are using (Default, GO etc..)>Third Option select HomeHelper (Tick set as default). Then you are done.

This is basically just an alternative doing what the home key already does by default. But the default can be messed up (It conflicts with Go launcher on mine).

Anyway hope this helped.

Edit: On mine the original defaults and the 'fix', both have the home key go to the home screen, not showing the app that is already open. But the slide to unlock does unlock to opened apps. Yours may be different and the 'fix' may disable the HK unlocking to opened apps as long as its active but I dont know. To deactivate just turn HomeHelper off.
