Widgetlocker/executive assistant experience?

Hi everyone

Before I buy an HOX, I need to make sure I can get something like Executive Assistant (or widgetlocker) as my lockscreen replacement. Do these tweaks work well with the HOX? I read some early reports of problems with widgetlocker.

Widgetlocker works ok if you don't install a custom slider or use the Sense 3.0 default theme. The Sense 3.0 theme is jerky and the animation stutters as you pull the ring to unlock.

Also, you're prompted for the pin unlock screen when you answer a call if you use anything other than the default, pre installed themes.

Sorry, I'm coming from iOS so I don't quite understand. Do you mean that if I tweak my lock screen widgets to my liking, then I have to enter my PIN to answer a call? That seems like a huge disadvantage.

What about executive assistant? Anyone use that?

Widgets should be fine, but if you download and install an alternative unlock slider, that can cause issues. The pre installed ones work fine.

No experience with Executive Assistant, but I'll have a mess around with the free version and see if it's any good.
