Was curious if widgetlocker allows you to place shortcuts to ANY app on the lockscreen? Reason I ask is GoLauncherEX only allowed stock SMS shortcut from the lock screen - I do not use the stock SMS app, rather a third part app. I want to be able to access my third party SMS app from the lock screen.

Yes, you can place a shortcut to any app or place any widget on your lock screen. If you want you can also use custom sliders to launch any app and use multiple sliders.
