Widgetlocker - remove default sliders

Greetings,
I am trying out widgetlocker and it comes with two default sliders, volume and something else. I dont know how to remove them. I thought I could just go into tool mode and press and hold them and I would get the remove option but I dont. How do you remove these two default sliders please?

Try pressing and holding in the middle between the sliders, rather than on the slider tab itself.

The thing to know is that the pair if sliders is really a single object running the width of the screen, so pressing in the middle is selecting the object.
