widgets not updating with kitkat

Updated to kitkat last week and almost everything seems to be working great. No SD card problems and cell service has actually gotten better. Speed and battery both work great too.

The one problem I am having is with widgets. None of my widgets update anymore. Clocks stay stopped, weather doesn't update, and battery widget is stuck.

Anyone else have this problem? Anyone know how to fix it?

Try clearing cache on the widgets main app in app section...if that doesn't work then uninstall and reinstall widget app and recreate them...if that doesn't work someone else may have suggestions.

some of my widgets needed manually recreating but not all....slightly annoying especially when depending on them (ie catch that bus)

I haven't run into any widget problems after my t-mobile kitkat update. Everything I had before worked fine I did have to recreate something though but that's because I use Nova Prime for my home screen, I don't think it was a kitkat issue.
