widgets that are know for high battery consumption?

i like using widgets and was wondering if there are certain widgets that use alot of battery and if so how and or why??

ones that update regularly and especially ones that get their information from the internet will use the most man. You can install a good battery monitor like GSam to keep an eye on what theyre using. I think(?) most off-line widgets only use power while youre on the homescreen though. Ive never had a widget use a drastic amount of battery :thumbup:

The weather channel widget ran constantly on mine killed battery 50% faster than usual
