Is there a way to change the default brightness?

My switcher widget defaults to 12%, so I have to change it to the brighter setting every time I reboot.
 
Jaumard, is there a trick to getting the Auto Lock Screen to function on the Evo? I try to use it, but it doesn't work. Do you know what might be conflicting with it? Thank you.

*Edit* Flipped a couple of switches; got it working.
 
I just downloaded this app, it's what I've been looking for, but I was specifically wanting music controls in the notification bar. I see the app can do that, but for some reason I don't see that as an option anywhere. I'm running Liberty 1.5, could that have anything to do with it? Otherwise, great app!

If you don't see it it's because your phone is not compatible yet. But next update have more phone compatible (maybe all but I can't said this to 100% :D ) Wait this update.

No way if you don't see it if it's I 'm sure your are not compatible (you don't have the stock app) for now media button work only with it. Not after update. The only way is to wait :)
 
Jaumard, when do you think your next update will be available?

Also, when screen lock is not enabled, android's weather animations don't seem to work. When screen lock is enabled, it works just fine.

I think next week for the update.
I don't know what you mean by weather animations because i don't have it on my phone but I don't touch this. I think apps who make weather animations look if lock is enable or not to make animations.

Music controls now work, great! Is there any way to completely remove the notification icons, not just make them invisible, because they're still wasting space.

I'm using an unrooted EVO with stock ROM and this was a request I made earlier....after this past weekend's update I haven't noticed the wasted space anymore....I'll keep checking just to be sure though. I agree with you, the wasted space is just that, wasted. And it looks a little unprofessional.
 
I've been monitoring the invisible/wasted space issue--no sign of a problem. It operates perfectly for me and looks great!

I will try to help. I would however appreciate it if you would return the favor. You have way more experience than I, so it should not be difficult for you to assist me. For starters, where can I get a video of the "quiz me" tutorial; I could not find it on youtube.

I have a Samsung Captivate with Cognition (rooted and recently installed so please let me know if you think that could mess my phone up) and LaunchBox Pro +.

Also, I need help creating (really just setting up) a basic app that will be similar to a company website. I prefer to use email but am willing to stick with this site. Thanks and let me know if your interested.
 
Jim, I hope you're still monitoring this thread....I use Tasker now and love it! Can I toggle a Widgetsoid setting from Tasker? I would love to load Widgetsoid from Tasker and then execute a command.

Jim, Can you tell me what command to use in the Data window of Tasker's Load App to execute your screenlock feature? Is it Cmd Lockscreen? or Activate Lockscreen? I can't get it to work. Thanks in advance for your help!
