Wifi 801.x Eap authentication phase 2 BUG !!!

Hello
I'm Marco

i just observed a real and bad bug.
when i create a new wifi network with the protection 801.x EAP with phase 1 PEAP, android in not able to save the phase 2 authentication.
If i select Mascphv2 and save it, when i go again in that network the authentication 2 shows "none" and not the saved Maschpv2.
It is terrible, i can't connect to my college wifi, or if it happen, only for 20 seconds, then the phone don'te receive datas, of course, there is no authentication saved !!!
Is there a buf fix for a non rooted phone?
i have an Xperia Neo with 2.3.4

Welcome to the forums!

A lot of people report this issue, but many find that manually creating the connection rather than selecting the network from the list gets around it -

Open Wi-Fi Settings from Settings, Wireless & Networks
If need be, write down the SSID of the 802.1x network (Case sensitive)
Select Add Wi-Fi network
Enter the SSID, select security 802.1x Enterprise, EAP method is PEAP, Phase 2 authentication is Mascphv2, CA certificate and Client certificate are N/A, Identity is your RADIUS or Domain Authentication username, Anonymous Identity can be left blank, and Wireless password is the password to match your RADIUS or Domain Authentication password.

Or - is that what you're trying and it's still failing? :(
