Help WiFi and Bluetooth not turning on

DrewP1337

Newbie
This morning both my Bluetooth and WiFi would turn on. When I clicked on either one it would turn soft green then go back to white. I tried clearing the cache and restarting the phone and it didn't resolve the issue

Hi Drew,

I would try to pull the battery for about 30 seconds and then test again. If you still have the same problem then try booting into safe mode to see if a third party app is causing the problem.

Regards,
Eric.

That is frustrating indeed, but at least we know that it is not an errant app that is causing the problem. I seem to recall hearing that both WiFi and Bluetooth are handled by the same chipset (my Google search seems to confirm this). I would therefore suggest that we are looking at a hardware problem. Are you close to a Samsung service center by any chance?

Regards,
Eric.

Eric unfortunately I am not near a service center. I appreciate your help! There has to be a way to fix this or is it something beyond my repair

Hi Drew,

I am sure that it can be fixed, I just don't know how best to proceed now. Perhaps someone else has some more input for you. Failing that I would give Samsung a call and see what they suggest. Sorry I cannot help more.

Regards,
Eric.
