these are my laptop ipconfig. i am using my windows 8.1 laptop as a wifi router for mobiles. my micromax canvas xpress 2 mobile is not able to connect wifi network it shows authentication problem.but when i connecting with another mobile wifi it is connecting. plz help me to connect.

I believe doing WiFi network sharing with Windows, only works as ad-hoc rather than infrastructure mode. And some devices can't connect to ad-hoc mode WiFi, they don't support it. Not sure about Micromax Canvas devices, if they're infrastructure mode WiFi only, i.e. you have to use a real WiFi router.

Although Apple Macs can provide infrastructure mode WiFi for sharing an internet connection, working as a WiFi router, but not Windows AFAIK.

yes i am using it from last 1 yrs by using software virtual router plus and m hotspot but now unable to connect micromax canvas xpress 2mobile having authentication problem. plz tell me the static setting ipv4 address , gateway ,dns1, dns2 and other settings as per my laptop ip config mentioned above

The ipconfig command does not give dns values. You will need to get these from adapter properties in your PC which can be found un network & sharing

SORRY IT IS NOT HELPFUL TO ME AGAIN SAME PROBLEM. PLZ HEP ME. IT IS EASILY CONNECTED TO MOBILE WIFI.

It sounds that your problem is with the software you are using on the laptop if you can connect to mobile wifi. Try setting it up again. I doubt anyone here uses this program so you may be better off contacting the developers
