WiFi authentication

[Android Question]

I have a google tablet. I am trying to connect of wifi but it just keeps saying "authenticating". Has not even asked me for the password. How do I fix the problem so I can put in the password and connect to wifi?

What kind of authentication is the router using? Android doesn't handle all of them. You should be using WPA or WPA2 Personal. (If the router has WPS, use that to connect.)
