Help Wifi broken

Hello,

since very recently my wifi is broken. I don't know what caused it.

When I want to put my wifi on, I get :
- enabling...
- scanning...
- connected to my_wireless
- getting IP-address
- connection broken

The only thing I can do is completely reboot my HTC Desire Z. Then I can connect to my wireless network... for about 1 hour.

After this I again completely loose wifi-connection.

I'm working with my HTC Desire Z for about 1 year now, never had any problem. Till now !!

What can be wrong ?

Oh yeah, I want to add : nothing points into the direction of my wireless router... Wireless works as always with all clients.
Also : phone keeps giving notice "can not scan for networks".

I have never suggested that someone do a Factory Reset, but in this case I will. Follow the instructions in this post before you do it. That way it will be as painless as possible for you.
