Help wifi calling?

ok.. got a mt4g now.. considering the nexus s but wifi calling is a must since i get 0 signal bars in my house so wifi calling has came in handy.. does the nexus s have this feature?

yeah i seen there are some apps that let you make calls over wifi but not recieve them and usually comes up some crazy long distance # on the other persons caller id. but i can make/recieve calls and texts once i enter my house as if i had full signal strength.. pretty nice feature.. i wouldnt even care about it but with having no signal at my house it is quite nice .. so its kind of a deal breaker for me if it doesnt have it.

this has nothing to do with apps the phone itself actual has that feature built in. If you search this forum or go to the nexus s website there are tutorials

yeah i seen that on there site, voip calling. from what i been reading and googling, no wifi calling.. that sux!.. guess im keeping the mt4g.

no not really.. i mean you can place a call outbound but it even sounds like theres some work involved in making the call like logging into your acct etc.. and i dont think your # even shows up on the other persons caller id.. sounds like its similiar to using google voice acct .. i know when i place a call from that on my pc it comes up a LA #.. plus if i dont have no signal in the house im gonna have to use it on wifi anyway.. wifi calling i dont even pay attention to if the phone has no signal or not.. once im in my house my phone syncs up to my router and i can call/text like nothing has changed..

Settings>Call Settings>Internet Call Settings Accounts

There is an option to receive incoming calls.

Sounds like what you really want is a Femtocell. Originally designed for hijacking mobile lines, these are nowadays used to create a mobile signal where you've only got an internet connection.

In the UK, Vodafone sells them as Vodafone Sure Signal, for 20 quid. Other providers might sell them as well, and I believe (but am unsure) you can get one from 3rd parties but I'm unsure as to how you would set them up.
