Wifi Calling

I have an Original Droid Incredible not rooted on Verizon and wanted to see if there were any good Wifi Calling apps out there that actually WORK. I see a few on Google Play but the reviews don't look too good.
I will be traveling to Korea and wanted to be able to call home using Wifi preferably a Wifi App that works and preferably free.

You could use Skype? Either get the person you want to call to download Skype or buy a call plan from them, think you can get it for around
 
Wanting to integrate with Google Voice so my calling would be free, I've tried Talkatone and GrooveIP Lite. Both work, but my low-spec phone can't really handle the load so they don't work well for me. Talkatone even acknowledged that and made the app incompatible in the Play store but allowed me to download it from their website and sideload it if I really insisted on taking my chances, which is a classy way to handle it IMO.

I don't know if either of those have any limitations for international use.

There are a number of other options that I haven't tried yet. I don't do a lot of calling so I'm rarely motivated...
 
What is your goal? Do you want to use this app for sending out as well as receiving the calls? What outgoing number do you prefer?

I am super stingy guy (not that its my attitude but I honestly think that the cellular service providers are a rip-off) so I tried a few but settled with Vonage app. It lets me call for free over wi-fi but to receive the call, I have to pay. Many of my contacts know me 'well' enough so when they call me, I reject the call and call the back using Vonage. My use is limited so haven't had any issues with it yet.

Give it a try, you may like it. (BTW, it uses your real phone number as a outgoing number)

For international use, I prefer Betamax services (Actionvoip.com)
 
Delta- I was looking to use it while in S. Korea for incoming and outgoing calls, probably moreso outgoing if I had to pick. I hear you can't use your real phone # for most.
 
I use Spare Phone with Google Voice. Allows incoming and outgoing over wifi. Works great and worth the few bucks.
