wifi connecting bt unable to browse

i hav bought galaxy ace recently bt got problems with Wifi, Wifi is getting connected, but i am unable to browse..the page cannot be displayed.android market also nt opening , i hav turned on all options related to packet data or wifi connectivity, bt still cant browse the net , plz help me ...

i tried it at college, everything is fine ,no proxy is required ,my friends use wifi their and it works perfectly fine 4 them, bt my phone doesnt browse even wifi connects...

can u tel me , if ur cell is on charge and u play games, does it damages the battery ??
