Wifi Connection bounce.

I have a general question about wifi. I am on an HTC Rezound on S-off running Nils Business Sense.

Recently I decided to extend my wifi in the house using a second router on the other end of the house. I have the network setup and it works well with the computers but on my Rezound I've noticed about every 30 sec or so the wifi icon disappears, the 4g status pops up and then it goes back to wifi.

It doesn't seem to be affecting my abilities but I'm worried that it will drain my batter with it constantly thinking there is a different wireless network to connect to.

Anyone have any ideas?

Did you check the Wi-Fi options? My Bionic at System settings | Wi-Fi | Advanced has an option Keep Wi-Fi on during sleep and I have it set to Always.

Perhaps you don't and should try it.

Thanks for the reply Thom. But yes... that flag is set to Always as well.
