Help Wifi connection dis-functioning

Whenever i connect my wifi , after about 5 minutes of connection the wifi stops responding .
The router WLan Led is glowing (indicating availablity of wifi) but stops flickering indicating there is no traffic .

Any solution to avoid this? Am not able to use wifi for more than 5 minutes

two terms.. Wifi.. Internet..
you mean to say that wifi connects and you can use internet via wifi for 5 minutes then it disconnects?
If yes then contact your ISP

your router could be causing the problem. have you tried connecting to it using a different device, ex laptop?

I am having the same problem with my Samsung Galaxy Y. When I logon on my WiFi by simply using the quickstart option in the quickmenu it works, after a couple of minutes (I think when the phone is locked) the Wifi stops working.
The WiFi router is working properly (Laptops, Ipod, HTC Desire S, HTC Desire HD, Samsung Galaxy Ace's have a good connection which don't fail).

Contacting the ISP is nog really a solution for me. They don't know anything about technics and they say it's a problem of Samsung.

i have also same problem but after unlocking the phone wifi automatically reconnect and another problem is when i am trying to established a secure connection it fails but unsecure conc. is always established well. if anybody have any suggestions....please..

Go to wifi setting-advanced-wifi sleep policy-never
