Help Wifi Connection

jamepc

Newbie
I am able to connect to my home Wifi so I don't incur data charges when downloading or browsing on my phone, but is there a way to view my phones contents (SD card and internal memory) from another computer on my network via Wifi?
Thanks!

For sure. If you go to Settings>>More Settings>>Nearby devices Then turn File sharing on. You will now be able to see your GS3 and it's photos and other media on your XBox 360 or PS3. Not sure about other computers on your network but I am sure it should work since the others can :-)

*** UPDATE*******
Just confirmed this works beautifully. After I Enabled the File Sharing a couple pop up menus came up on my phone and asked do you want to allow "Your Computer Name Here" access to your GS3? I selected Yes. Then another Pop Up asked do you want to allow Windows Media Player access to your GS3? I once again selected Yes. Then on my home computer clicked on my Network then selected Media Player from my Network. It opened and I could see my GS3. From there I could open all the pictures and watch all my mobile video. :-)
