Help wifi cuts in and out randomly after JB

My wifi started cutting in and out randomly after the JB update.

I first noticed it when I was in my kitchen. The signal is weak there and I figured the update must have turned down the gain on the Wifi antenna to save battery, annoying but understandable.

However, it's don't it several times while I'm sitting at my desk (2' from the router). It makes no sense. It always reconnects in a few seconds, but it's just enough to interupt what I'm doing the be an irritation.

Anyone else?
 
i can't get ANY WiFi connections since the update. Doesn't even seem to 'search', even though WiFi is turned 'On' in the settings. no indicator logo, etc.

before the update, no problems at all.

Try going to System Settings/Wi-Fi/Advanced[bottom left] un-check "Avoid poor connections"
 
Didn't work for me, After going from ICS to JB, where I used to get 3 bars I now get the dot to 1 or sometimes 2. Where I got full wifi before, I now get 2 to 3 bars. The places haven't changed, nothing has changed on the Nexus 7, JB is the only change. Yes, I did an FDR with no change. I had no other issues after the update, thought this might fix the wifi problem. A friend of mine has the Razr, same problem.
