Hi,
Ever since I updated my x10 to Gingerbread 2.3 about 3 months ago, my WiFi has been appalling. When it works, it's great. Trouble is, most of the time it doesn't!
What happens is it will connect, but then for some inexplicable reason (I think maybe when the Wifi Signal reaches its lowest) the connection will cut out and it will go back to GPRS (or 3G if I am lucky) If I then go into my WiFi options and look at the connection to my BT Home Hub, it will just keep saying:
"Connecting"
"Obtaining IP address"
before moving to "Disabled"
It just keeps looping through this process, and I can see the WiFi icon keeps appearing at the top of my screen.
The only way to fix it is to reset the hub, but more often than not, the WiFi will cut out on my phone again just a few minutes later!
I've tried everything, even setting a static IP, but nothing helps. Is there a fix for this?
Thanks,
Alex
