Help WiFi doesn't work in parts of the house

WiFi won't work on my vzw s4 in my bedroom or bathroom. It works on my laptop and even my step dad's s4 which is the exact same model as mine. So I know it isn't a problem with the router

I'm currently on 4.4.2 NK1. Not rooted.

Try using 2.4Ghz if you're on 5Ghz.
Other than that, install a wifi range extender

have you tried switching to airplane mode and back again? Sometimes this fixed my wifi problems on my phone.

Another possibility is the phone case you may be using. In my own experience, I've seen signal increase on either mobile data and WiFi just by taking off the phone case. I usually use a combination type case that is 2 piece plastic and rubber. Understandable how they could damper signal a lil bit.
