Just wanted to share my S3 experience.
When I got my S3 two weeks ago I was happy but the wifi started reconnecting very often and I did the quick fix (*#0011#), I did a few benchmarks and quadrant for example scored 3300- 3800 with a few 4500 in between which was very odd. I started noticing that the phone would run pretty warm even when I was just browsing or using basic apps but I still didn't think nothing of it since I read a few posts here and other people said the same thing but eventually the phone stopped charging even thou the charging icon and led was on so I exchanged it and all those problems are gone. Wifi has been solid not disconnecting even once, quadrant scores are consistent around 4950 and the phone runs cool only slightly warming up when at the bottom only when I play Riptide or watch embedded flash for a while but still nothing comparing to what it was before. The battery has also improved, I guess heat equals to wasted energy which comes from the battery like they say. Now I'm extremely happy with it and I appreciate the difference between what a faulty phone was and what Samsung really set out to produce. Originally I got the first day it was available in Canada and it seems like they could have had a bad batch in the beginning.
