Wifi email problems

Hi pd47, welcome to Android Forums.
It would help if you could provide some details of your problem :-
Has it just started to happen with an existing email account or is it a new account you are trying to set up?
Your email provider and smtp server name eg smtp.orange.net (this was mine prior to using google server)
I had a similar problem with my orange.net emails because Orange will not allow access to their smtp servers via wifi. It is possible to overcome this particular problem by using Google smtp servers. It may be that you have the same problem in which case there is a solution assuming you have a gmail account.
My Google server settings are as follows :-
Server : smtp.gmail.com
Security : SSL
Port : 465
Login required
Username : my gmail address ie xxxxxx@gmail.com
Password : my gmail password
You could try these settings, using your gmail details.
