Root WIFI Glitch - Rooted vv5

Ok, so I have the connect 4G, MS840vv5. Stock. Everythings working fine.

But the bloatware kills me. So I dug through this forum, found the way to root. Got it rooted. Deleted a ton of useless apps.

Then the bluetooth would pair, and connect, but sound wouldnt work. So I said, ok...lets go back to stock MS840vv5, and start from scratch, to see which app I deleted, nerfed my bluetooth.

So I went to the list on this forum of "Stock Firmwares" and reloaded vv5.

Now, I have no wifi. I have the phone set for it to be on, but the WIFI radio is not on. The mobile data never turns off. And when I turn off mobile data, it never switches back to WIFI. it acts like they are both off.

Anyone got any updated info on Rooting vv5 successfully, without WIFI issues?

Old thread but no one responded yet...

My phone has rooted VV5 on it. Bluetooth and wifi both work. Sometimes when turning off wifi I don't get 4G and have to restart it, but this only happened after I dunked it in the lake so I think my phone is actually damaged.

When you reloaded the firmware, did you wipe factory data first? If not that could be your problem. Wipe factory data, then install stock firmware and test it out. Then root and debloat.
