I hope that someone can answer the below.
I picked up fourth HTC one (m8) today as the old one had hardware issues. I've had four in less than a year (as an aside has anyone else has this kind of hardware failures).
I use a windows tablet which I use for work and to do this I use my phone as a hotspot. On all of the other phones I have had I have been able to use my tablet using the security settings (ie entering a password). I tried to connect today with the new phone I have but the only options I have are "none" or WPA2 (AES), I dont want to connect with no security but the AES doesnt seem to work on my tablet.
I am sure I had other options before but of course I cant be sure but I know I could connect right away before.
Is there something I am missing?
