Root Wifi hotspot

hate

Android Enthusiast
I really want a stable hotspot. I've tried Barnacle, but my Galaxy Tab 2 doesn't find it. I've read that there are workarounds but haven't tried.

WiFi Tether 3.3-beta-2(Sorry, I can not find the download link i got it from. If i do find i will post), Device Profile:Generic ICS/JB(wlan0), Setup Method:Auto, and enable Wifi Driver reload and Keep Alive- Connection checking works with some glitches. It sometimes will just stop working, but I have not been able to find out what causes this. But the main problem i have is that if you stop tethering you have to reboot phone if you want to use it again.
Also tried 3.3-pre-2, could not get it to work.

Now the reason I decided to make thread is just in case people know of other tethering apps, I'll be happy to test them out and post results. If you have already tried the app and it works better then WiFi Tether please share with us. (Name, version if it matters and any settings). Or maybe you have tried other versions of same app that didnt have bugs.

Thanks in advance for any help
