When Rooted can you do free Wifi Hotspot by they not knowing you turn it on.

With a third party app, yes. I'm using WiFi Tether Router.

No, it bypasses that method. If you to try to use the built in tethering it would still try to go through the network and require authorization. WiFi Tether Router goes around that method and provides it within the phone directly.

Just left it on default settings except for configuring the actual network. Standard stuff.
